the point was to …
the point was to criticise the soy industry as a whole-most people don’t realise that by consuming soya not only are they not doing the environment any favours by destroying the rainforest and leading the poor farmers into more poverty, but they also contribute to making the big mulinationals even richer.

in case you didn’t …
in case you didn’t hear, most of the soy is used to feed cattle and livestock, not the latte

Monsanto is evil. …
Monsanto is evil. They want a MONOCROP in order to control the food production of the world and rake in all of the profits off of their untested test tube food. You cannot sustain an entire world without biodiversity. And the massive deforestation is only exacerbating the very climate change these companies hope to profit from as well. Farmers, stand up for your right to grow REAL FOOD. Don’t sell your soul and your livelihoods to these vipers.

hemp seeds are MORE …
hemp seeds are MORE nutritious than the soybean … hemp products could replace the TIMBER industries used for building products and PAPER TREE PULP used for junk mail and newspapers…
research/advocate industrial hemp alongside medicinal cannabis for health liberty and economy! and ecology! research the commodities we are not taking advantage of economically

fuck TRADER JOES… …
TRADER JOES…….i DON´T NEED “ORGANIC VEGETABLES ” for $10a bag…the with that.

now these middle class do-gooders can stuff their skinny soya latte up where the sun doesnt shine. They think is better for the envieronment and all they do is destroy the rainforest and sink poor farmers into deeper poverty

By Vivichan2787 on July 17th, 2009 at 4:08 pm

jajaja,tenes …

By kalaramus on July 17th, 2009 at 4:08 pm

because that …
because that farmland is sterile, and fertilizer would cost much more than you’d earn with soy

By alvaritosurfer on July 17th, 2009 at 4:08 pm

Humanity must be …
Humanity must be forced to spay and neuter themselves! Humans are basically greedy useless lethal viruses anyway so should not be allowed to reproduce in the future. Concepts like “monocultures don’t work” is beyond the primitive brains of humanity.

By papatooth1 on July 17th, 2009 at 4:08 pm

go trader joes!!!!! …
go trader joes!!!!!!! why the dont they use all the abandoned farmland in the US for this instead of cutting down the forest.

Not when it makes …
Not when it makes me vomit. That’s not a good protein source for me. If others need it, and like it – fine. It’s just sad that a whole forest is obliterated by an “ideal” that is not native to that area.

By arequipa1 on July 17th, 2009 at 4:08 pm

it may make u sick …
it may make u sick but it’s an extremely healthy source of nutrients and protein (protein is the most important)

Soy makes me …
Soy makes me physically ill. How sad to see those that are so adamanant about this “food source” are literally killing off other native plants for their own gain.
