Im trying to find the cheapest way to get to DC on or around the 5th for the Green Festival…Ideas?

If u're planning on flying, check the prices on cheaptickets.com They have very low prices and deals. But if you're planning on riding on the bus, try the greyhound bus they have great deals, specially if u're a student and u buy your ticket 1 or 2 weeks in advance ..During the summer of 2005,, I bought my ticket one week in advance from the greyhound website, for $ 45 from North carolina to philadelphia. They had a lot of stops, but I was still glad, because the deal was worthit!
I hope this was helpful

Make friends with a truck driver – there's no Greyhound service from Abington to Washington.

You may want to check out ride sharing forums at http://www.craigslist.org or even the Ride Boards at U. of Tennessee, Radford or Virginia Tech to see if anyone is going in that direction.
