Australia is a big place. Where are you comming from? what do you like? The climate here is great for camping and there are lots of national parks that let campers stay for free or low cost. If you are in/comming to Sydney a trip down the south coast to the Shoalhaven is well worth the trip. If the idea of camping in the bush doesnt appeal, you could always hire a caravan/cabin at Huskisson/Sussex Inlet/Bendalong/Currarong and plenty of other places.
